The imperial city is in close vicinity to an excellent motorway network connecting you with the surrounding cities in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. You can also easily and quickly reach Aachen by train. The
Airports in Düsseldorf, Cologne, Maastricht and Brussels as well as Frankfurt are within short travel distance.
Guest from abroad arriving at Franfort International Airport (FFM) can take the direct train connection from the airport with ICE to Aachen main station. Star Alliance members can book directly to Aachen (XHJ) mondays to fridays. The other connection goes via Cologne with ICE.
